That's the biggest concern I have. Skip it tight with money. You have any idea what Bianco and Wells are making?
bianco near 400K plus he has some insane lucrative contract through Easton. i assume wells has something in the same ballpark. (excuse the indirect pun) bianco also has the 7 mil dollar facility next year and had 2 kids born in ole myth since hes been there.
In other words, you aint been to the dance yet so quit crowing. :dis: Hold on Bubba.....I didn't say a word about OM having a dynasty or better baseball tradition than LSU. I did no "crowing." With tradition, you either live in the past or maintain and grow for the future. If LSU baseball hasn't been declining from its former greatness, why are you looking for a new coach? JS... I love how Ole Miss fans latch on like a tick to half a win and claim it is the NC of something. Learn to read something other than racing books. I didn't mention OM's winning or any titles. I wasn't critical of LSU. Wow--you must really be miserable living where you do!!!!
It will not be money that will bring Bianco if he comes, Ole Missy will match anything Skip will be willing to pay. It will come down to whether he wants to be a Tiger again or is satisfied where he is.
Wells is still playing, as much as I've disliked Skip as AD he wouldn't make a deal with a coach while he is still playing and without getting permission from the AD.
Oh, ok. So then since another school was dominant (long before the days of parity, too), then we can't have a tradition? Ok, then. I keep forgetting that the only traditions OM fans are a part of is losing and envy. Silly me.
living in the past is thinking USC's titles was in the same landscape as skips.LSU had a garden along the first base line in the early 80s. times are a bit different. but one thing that can be said, even in our recent slide, we've won more SEC games the last 5 years than anyone else. i think that supports your argument quite well. amongst our decline, we're still near the top.
