SNL, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart... that stuff has a liberal bent with biting sarcasm that is funny as hell. Ann Coulter is just straight-up pathological.

Is there a Republican version of SNL or Jon Stewart?

That's not the one. I'm thinking of a blonde (older) who's usually found hacking liberal sputum on O'Reilly or Hannity and Dork.

Ann Coulter has very little credibility even among many of my fellow Republicans. It is hard, if not impossible, to justify many of the things she says and at times she has certainly been an embarrasment to the GOP. But she believes in what she says, so I don't know if you can call her intellectually dishonest. To compare her to Al Quida is rediculous. She may be a loose cannon, but she is no terrorist. Controversial? Absloutely. Intentionally so. Controversy sells books.

As for the question, is there a Democratic Ann Coulter? My vote goes to Rosie O'Donnell.

On gun control: "If you own a gun you should go to prison."
On 9/11: Claims, with other 9/11 conspiracy theorists, that the World Trade Center imploded.
On Iraq: compared American soldiers to terrorists.

Those are just a few statements by her. There are many others.

She does not believe in what she writes. Al Qaeda, on the other hand, believes in what they write. That's the major difference when it comes to intellectual honesty vis-a-vis the two of them.

God blessed her with a sharp head, and she knows very well that she is spewing out garbage that would be automatically rejected by anybody but the most weak-minded human beings... yet she purposely chooses to do so anyway. That is sick. To me, Ann Coulter is the lowest form of human life imaginable (the traitor). Her calling is to be a porn star (in other words, I think going into porn would be an honest move in her life).

Rosie O'Donnell, on the other hand, is just not that bright. I don't think anybody cares what she says.
