Of those 3 I would have to go with Einstein. Yes, Roosevelt did create a world superpower but we will never know whether another president in those times would have risen to the occasion as well. Roosevelt played the cards he was dealt very, very well.

As far as Ghandi how has non violence worked out lately? Great philosophy but we still kill each other in massive numbers.

Can you imagine how politicians would absolutely destroy Obama today if he had polio? Or was hiding a disease?

Hitler comes in third after Mao and Stalin. Hitler affected us the most, but internationally Stalin killed twice as many people (50 million), mostly his own and Mao three times as many (75 million), mostly his own.

Pol Pot deserves a shot for killing 2.5 million people in only 4 years.

Au Contraire. They would be forced to go easier on him. Attack a cripple and it makes you look like a real scumbag

Oh I disagree, maybe for an average Joe but you can bet your ass people would question his ability to lead because of his frailty. Hell, a whole shit load of people were calling him the worst president ever before he even got a year in.

Do you think WWI happens as it did without the assassination of Ferdinand?

Yes. Not on the same day that it actually started but only a matter of months.

Not exactly, but war was coming. The alliances were entangling and every power in Europe was geared up for it.

No change. The treaties and alliances were all in place. An arms race had been going on for a decade. War talk had been going on for two years. The Croatian-Austrian dispute had nothing to do with Germany invading two neutral countries to invade France. Germany wanted France, period. They tried it again two decades later. And now they are doing it again, only smarter. The European Union is the Fourth Reich.
