Huh? The entire college football nation cares about it. This could end up deciding how useless the BCS system is...come on dude. Good luck to OU in their "championship" game against a 4 or 5 loss team. :thumb:
Yeah, that sucks, but it sure as hell isn't our fault. If you guys remain undefeated and pass us, that will most likely be why.
I definitely don't expect any pity over here, thanks though. And whatever LSU fans felt last year would not even come close to what Auburn fans would feel like if Auburn were to go undefeated in the SEC and still not get a chance at the NC. LSU got there WITH a regular season loss. The comparison isn't even close. Bottom line is that the season isn't over and no "injustices" have been made against Auburn. Auburn still has a ways to go to seriously have a case.
They both are. No question. Look, Peterson is an EXCELLENT RB. No question! But Cedric Benson has put up better numbers (Benson has more rushing yards, more TD's--36-straight games with a TD at that) and means more to his team than Peterson means to OU. OU can win without Peterson. Texas cannot win without Benson. Yet the media is all over Peterson like a maggot on a rotting piece of meat. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm tired of seeing OU run up the score week-in and week-out. Take last night for instance: OU up 30 with 2 minutes left and White is still out there--chucking the ball downfield. So far, every team that OU has taken to the woodshed, and run up the score on, has come back and say, "It's not their fault, it's ours--we should have stopped them", etc. But "sooner" or later, opposing coaches are going to stop being the gracious and humble loser and eventually stick it right up Stoops' pooper--and I want to be around to see it.
OU is not the problem, its USC being #1. I can understand how Auburn fans feel but OU in my opinion should be #1 and USC should be #3. Just as last year OU is not the team to complain about its USC, but with the change in the BCS USC is set up to play in the NC game and the fight is for the #2 spot.
