Patterson, as Bob Davie repeatedly called him, was clearly the player of the game. I am anxious to see Patterson and Patrick Peterson on the field together. Davie also continually referred to Cutrera as Cutera. Late in the game he made a reference to Patterson Peterson. At the end of the game when the camera showed a crowd shot of LSU fans Davie's comment about Tiger fans following their team all the way to Seattle despite the bad economy made it sound like sound like all those fans had to take out a second mortgage on their mobile homes in order to follow the Tigers. Davie should be limited to only calling Notre Dame games because they are irrelevant anyway.
I voted Toliver. Kid is a beast and he is breaking out, which means the offense SHOULD be unstoppable once Crowton takes off that Dunce cap he's sporting. Peterson (Patterson) did his thing out there but was also caught on at least a half dozen times (albeit in pretty good coverage).
Im going with Cutrera, Toliver, and Patterson. I'll go with Coleman for solid tackling. Also, PLAY JOSH DOWNS MORE OFTEN.
:hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi: Maybe he and Holtz could hook up and call the ND games. NBC sucks pretty bad already so they would fit in nicely.
Peterson and Tolliver. Peterson was the defense, Tolliver was a man-child and made his defenders look silly.
Notre Dame will be this year's Penn State. And with their easy sched, they could make some noise this year.
peterson for sure. he was all over the place in the first half and shut down locker's ability to make plays in the 2nd half. BEAST, da boy is! looking forward to seeing him play against Vandy!
I voted Peterson because he is going to become a force with which to be reckoned. I could've voted Toliver for seemingly finally coming into his own. And I'd like to give Jordan Jefferson honorable mention for going on the road, just days after turning 19, making only his 3rd start, and throwing for 3 TDs and no INTs. He didn't make any costly mistakes and threw the ball safely away when necessary.
