I've seen a lot of underclassmen out there.

I agree about Claiborne and Loston. I also think we will see a lot of Josh Downs and Ryan Baker.

Downs will lock up a DT position.

Exactly, but it took years to drill through that titanium skull of his and make him realize he had stars on the bench while duds were in the game. If I remember correctly the media was on his azz about it and the fan base was ready to put him out to pasture because of it as well. He changed his philosophy and low and behold the wins start coming.

They are out there.... for a play or two but they don't start or see significant PT. Not that I have noticed anyway.

There aren't a ton, but there are a few starting:

    Jordan Jefferson, QB, SO
    T-Bob Hebert, C, RSFR
    Josh Dworaczyk, LG, SO
    Patrick Peterson, CB, SO
    Brandon Taylor, SS, SO

Then you have guys like Russell Shepard, Steven Ridley, Deangelo Peterson, Reuben Randle, Chancey Aghayere, Josh Downs, Ryan Baker, Ron Brooks, etc, who have all received what I think to be considerable playing time. Now, I agree, they don't get the lion's share, but they see a lot of time. How many of those guys are really better than the current starters?

we lose 3 linebackers, definitely see Baker as a starter, don't know if Mingo will be ready. Could be our weakness next year, or it could be our strength. Really like Baker and Chavis may bring CJ down like he did the Hit Man. I really think Loston could be the best safety to come out of LSU.

How old is Lavar Edwards? He seemed to have a pretty good motor last week.

If that were to be the case, and RS were to line up as UF used harvin, Ridley, Murhpy, Ford, (possible Seastrunk), and RR and Toliver... we could be very dangerous.

that really only means something if there is an upperclassman behind them. 3 of these 5 are forced.
