The only team that beats them is themselves. Unless they have a meltdown and turn the ball over against Miami they win out.
Nebraska will, in their rematch in the Big 12 championship game. Having typed that I am laughing realizing how incredibly farfetched it is. Nebraska vs Texas Tech in the Big 12 championship game!
Leach has been improving that team's athletes year after year. They are still a long ways away from being a top program, but as long as he's there he will continue to improve to the point of having athletes of equal caliber to any top team. He's a weirdo though.
See, I disagree. There are too many top programs ahead of them for recruits in Texas (OU, UT, aTm, LSU) and they don't have the facilities. After I say that, do you have any rivals or scout year-by-year rankings for the lubbock l0sers?
That's why I said he's a long way away...you can't deny the fact that he's improved their overall ability greatly, and his style of teams are very attractive to recruits. He's also got a keen eye for talent.
I don't think Tech has looked very good this year. IMO, they were a better team last year and Texas beat them 51-21 at their house. Even though Tech put up some amazing numbers today, they did not look good in the first half of that game. If they play like they did tonight against Texas, they will lose by at least three touchdowns.
