I don't understand why the FSU OC gig is so attractive to him. Wouldn't that be a lateral move? Are they offering him that much more money?

I still like the ones above. Of course no chance of getting Petrino. He won't leave Louisville for anything other than a head coaching job. But the other two look good. Any other candidates?

I suspect some NFL coodinators will be considered.

I wondered this too; especially if he's taking the same or less money. Even if he is given full control of the offense, it's still makes you wonder. There may be some back deal in place the puts him in line for the HC position when the old man retires.

He's a West Coast offense guru. Hard to argue with that offense's success, but I can't see it in the SEC. But I'm just Joe Fan, so what do I know?

Since Red said no teaser titles I thought I would just do a teaser post. How about this guy for your OC?

When asked for a 45-minute interview, XXX reaction was both unpretentious and incredulous. "What do you need 45 minutes for? What can we do in 40 minutes that we can't in five? All you have to know about me is completing passes, third down conversions and no turnovers. There's not much more than that. I am not a teddy bear. I'm pretty much a boring guy."

"The problem with me, is I hate talking about myself. I just plain hate talking about myself."

When XXXXX hired XXX, he had one big concern, that XXXXX wouldn't like his rough edges, his direct approach, his demanding style, his distaste for babying athletes who need just the opposite.

XXX coaches with an edge, he wasn't sure if XXXXX wanted that.
"I'm a tough guy. That's how I coach, how I live, how I am, how I played. I learned that right here on this field.
