I picked WV. For a few of reasons. (1) They were in the mix last year until a fluke upset. (2) They have motivation for their coach leaving them. Did you see their bowl game last year. (3) Pat White is a Senior. (4) Noel Devine has a year under his belt. (4) They have a fairly easy schedule, only 2 ranked teams, Cinci and Auburn, both at home.

    that's funny...

Ohio State plays USC, Wisconsin and Illinois on the road... and Penn State and Michigan at home.
USC plays Ohio State, Oregon, ASU, Cal, ND at home and UCLA neutral.

The schedule favors USC to run the table. Oklahoma also has a very favorable schedule. This could be the match up... with USC winning.

I doubt if Georgia gets through unscathed, however I do see their President writing letters. Florida may step up, but Urban Meyer has posted the same in-conference record of 16-8 as Zook had in his three years, so the Gators always seem good for two losses. I see the winner of the west winning the conference... so there's your darkhorse!

There sure are a lot of votes for the home town team, but also a nice mix of votes for the other choices.

Thanks for voting everyone. 2008 should be another awesome college football season.

The SEC is the best conference, and everybody now knows it, and the Champ will win the BCS title game if they play, two losses or not.
Last year, the best team won, and it was from the SEC.
The year before, the best team won, and it was from the SEC.

But the REAL question hasn't ever been answered, and people want to know and they will make sure we SEE IT.

So, it's SEC champ versus USC in 2008. USC will beat OSU.

SECCG = Florida versus LSU (rematch).

BCS Championship = USC versus ... :milesmic:
