I think what all of you fail to realize. If AU wins the NC trophy we won't have far to go to pick it up next year. :D

As long as we're mathamatically still in the West title picture, yes, I hope they get knocked off :thumb: , but if, as the season progresses, and we get eliminated from the SEC title game picture :bncry: , then I hope they go undefeated (as much as it pains me to say that at this point  ....ugh....I think I just made myself sick! :( )

Once the regular season is over, and the SEC championship game has been played, I've always cheered for the SEC teams in ALL of their bowl games  .....even Auburn and Florida...

Auburn could be smacking us now...and they're not. Let 'em have their year. It's not like they're a bunch of serial killers and radical muslims.

it appears auburn is for real

it appears that auburn is for real, i know they have some tough games left. but, campbell is having a coming through year. this has helped remove that one dimension that they have had in the past few years. i guess they will have to win out - i think as long as campbell is playing well this takes heat off the running game and opens everything up. their play calling was impressive and showed some imagination yesterday.

it is a shame that all conferences don't have to play in a title game such as sec and big 12. i will not warrant the big 10 and the pac 10 ten respect until they do so. is the acc playing a title game this yr?
    just my thought. GB

ACC will have a championship game in JAX starting next year when BC comes in. Not sure if they've decided yet to have it fixed in one city.

If Auburn is a great team this year, then how do we rate LSU... LSU lost to auburn by a missed extra point.. not to mention a missed field goal that would have won it for them. LSU played a horrible game and still almost came away with the win because of their very much underrated and disrespected defense. They held this team to down for 58 minutes! If this game were in tiger stadium or in november, LSU walks away with it. LSU is a top 5 team, the simply have a bad schedule. Alot of these teams in the top 10 have very bottom heavy schedules, with weak early season opponents.. push auburn and georgia back to november and lsu goes undefeated. Guess thats just the way it goes with a young team. But i will say it now, as i have said it all year. By bowl time, no team in the country will be as good as the tigers. The wideouts are catching much better than they were just 3 weeks ago, imagine how they will be doing in 2 more months... the o-line is solidifying... the defense is starting to listen to their coaches and follow the game plan.. and randall is gaining confidence.. i pity any team that meets LSU in the post season.. looks like it will be a big12 team in the cotton bowl.. maybe some revenge on texas? or some old-school whipass on some aggies.. i ll take either..

Auburn has been snakebitten the past few seasons with numerous key injuries to the O-line, one of the most difficult problems to manage from a coaching perspective. As you'll recall, my prediction for Auburn this season was weighted heavily on the performance of AU's O-line. But I must admit it's been better than what I believed possible. AU has avoided the injury bug (knock on wood) and the quick starts in each game this season have enabled the offense to finally establish it's identity. And for those who believed Jason Campbell was not the equal of < insert choice of name here > , well take a closer look, because this kid is flat-out delivering in performance department - and the leadership department too.

With all due credit to Al Borges, JC is the primary reason this team is finally meeting the expectations from the '03 season...... and I'll bet Jason would credit CAB for his success.
