    9 should be retired immediately but they never do things that way. Have to have some committee hem and haw about whether Burrow was worthy enough for a few years. They still don't have a statue of Pete Maravich in front of the building named after him.

    I am not in favor of retiring any numbers. To me it is much better to honor the legacy of a special player by giving the number to someone who earned it on the field (e.g. # 18 & # 7).
