Right now, I'd have to agree. IMO, Ohio State is the front-runner to be the first team to win 2 BCS titles. I hope I'm wrong, too. I think we'll have the talent to compete for it next year--and a schedule that IF we finish with no more than one loss, have the chance to be in the title game next year. After that, anything is possible.
last time I checked, you can win it all with 1 loss... i seem to recall LSU doing it... I fully expect a down year for "dominance" next year.. I anticipate the playoff lovers best friend next season, which is 6-7 1 loss teams, which means 4-5 teams can have legit gripes... With our great preseason rank, if we lose 1, I like our chances If we split UF and Auburn, I don't see any other loss on the schedule...
Oklahoma The Big 12 has been in the NC title game 3 out of the last 3 years. Once Oklahoma and Texas play, there is little else to stop either team right at the moment.
Ohio St will probably be getting the most preseason hype, mostly deserved. However, I don't see them going undefeated. Will LSU have what it takes? With the tough, tough road schedule & replacing of lines next season - I'm not predicting an undefeated season. I will predict 1 loss at this moment, which puts us in contention for another NC but we'll need some help.
