Sorry if I've failed to scour the message boards. Who do insiders think gets the nod at QB? Who has been looking good?
You got a coin? Flip it. As of a story in yesterday's Advocate it looks like Jennings has a slight edge at the moment but practice hasn't started yet. My guess is that Jennings starts against Wisconsin unless Harris just totally outshines him in preseason practice.
I think Miles plays it safe with Jennings if the decision were made today, but everything depends on if one really separates from the other in Fall practice. Things could change drastically in August, you never know.
Not so sure about that one. Miles isn't widely known for playing the number 2 QB even when the competition is close. Before the sunshine pumpers go over the deep end, this isn't a criticism of Miles, just an observation.
we will still be a run first offense- believe that--- what we have to be cognizant about is of one is labeld a passer and the other a runner ( and that can also be a decoy too) but still think jefferson and lee --- defense played differently based on who was in which took away our advantage... in alot of situations- i look fwd to the wisconsin game- but we all know we're gonna run that MF ball for at least 200 yds, win with possession and classic sec football
Opening games under Les, all wins.......I like to go with the odds. TCU N. Tx Oregon N. Carolina UDub App. St. Moo St. ULaff Zona St. Wiskey is the second to last team in college football with returning starters, lost all of their starting 7 on the defensive side of the ball.
we have to throw the ball this year, believe it or not, this isnt the 2011 defense, nor the 2012 defense for that matter.
Historically, Miles like to keep the play book small and simple for the opener. I think we get a watered down (effective) version of Jennings with maybe a few snaps from Harris, just to get his feet wet.
