This year or next year?
Dorsey or Favorite seem to have the best chance at PT since we have the least depth at DT. This also depends on if Oliver makes the successful transition from DE to DT. Claude Wroten should definitely get PT since he is a transfer and again we are not deep at that position (DT). Luke Sanders and Craig Steltz would be about the only others I see maybe having any kind of PT (and that's a big maybe). I am most interested in seeing how the 3 wideouts will pan out (Carter, Doucet and Hawkins). Again, due to depth, one or 2 of these should see some considerable PT.
I think it would be a linebacker as we don't seem to have many young superstuds at that position. Kuale would be my choice like Wroten but they are both Juco's and should be ahaed of the incoming frosh. Dorsey and Favorite both project well but we do have some redshirts that were just as highly touted and the benefit of a year's practice and strength training. Sanders, Quinn Johnson and Matt Stoltz would be my guesses. If the WR's don't get PT I think everyone, including Nick and Jimbo, would be surprised.
Herman Johnson OL 6.0 6-8/350 3 Denton, TX This kid was 15 pounds when he came out of his mother. W/someone that size, I can see Big Herm stepping in and making a impact right away. If not this year then next year. He could be one of the best OL in LSU history. JMO
I would probrably say the juco guys for sure Claude and Mario. On offense I would have to say recievers because our o-line is looking pretty good and we have a stable of running backs. Dont forget about linebacker, could have some impact players there.
I don't think you have to worry about that, most people are nice until they get on the field then its a different story. Dr Jeckyl Mr Hyde? Besides the 1st time Nick rips him for something he will have the eye of the :tigerhead
I think neither of these 2 will have a shot, of course we will all have to wait until the fall to know for sure but we have plenty of depth at D-l and Wroten is sure to get playing time from all of what I've heard about him in practice. We also have Pittman, Carnell Stewart, Sean Merrill, Ryan Willis, Brian West, Jarod Carter, Alonzo Manuel and the other 2 true frosh for them to beat out in oder to get playing time. The newcomers who were not on the team last season that I think will get playing time are, Kuale, Super Mario, Claude, Early, Xavier, Ali Highsmith( I think he has a very good chance to start), and Stoltz.
