other than Florida St and maybe the iowa picks, everyones predictions simply echo the preseason rags for the most part. thats all everyone goes by to form their opinion anyhow and those mags consistently suck but know any more than you.

lets hear some actual picks. i dont have any except alabama sucks.

    • Big XII -- I think ATM shocks everyone. They could be like LSU from '01.
    • Big 11 Ten -- Wisconsin. Those bowl losses by Michigan and OSU may have crushed their spirits.
    • SEC -- LSU (phuck everyone else, hope Auburn goes 0-12)
    • ACC -- Don't be shocked if Georgia Tech proves to be the least mediocore of a mediocore conference.
    • Big Least -- Why does this conference get an automatic bid still? Everyone is picking either Louisville, WVA, or Rutgers, so just for the sake of arguing, I'll take Pittsburgh.
    • Pac 10 -- USC showed it's vulnerability last year, with a few close ones, and 2 they shouldn't have lost. I have no clue what teams are returning what starters (don't really care much either), and I hate picking condoms. So only because of the hospitality shown to us in the Katrina aftermath, I'll take Arizona State.
That's it folks, bookmark this thread, you heard it here first.

It's basically all your fault. You let Louisville beat the crap out of Kentucky every year. It's gotten so bad, I think it's now illegal for young Wildcat fans to watch the Louisville game until they are 8 years old.... too much trauma on their little brains. Then you let WV beat Georgia... MSU before that.
Now I know the Big Easy can't hold a candle to the SEC, but, man, you get the media all confused with these "I'll Leave The Light On" antics.

I'm w/ Hawker on his Big Ten analysis. Since teams can occasionally "miss" 2 out of the Wisky/Mich/OSU big 3, a good team can run the table and win a conference that does not have a conf. title game. Iowa is set to do just that, assuming they can beat Wisky on the road.

SEC: LSU, with S. Carolina given an outside chance. If the Cocks get to Atlanta, I like 'em against LSU since I think it's hard to beat OBC twice in the same season.

Big 12: OU. Schedule is pretty easy if they take out Texas in Dallas.

PAC 10: USC, w/ UCLA an outside shot.

    ACC: FSU

WAC: Hawaii...Colt Brennan is going to throw about 60 TDs this year. The Rainbows have a legit shot at getting a BCS bid.

    CUSA: Southern Miss

Big East: W Va. Too much talent not to do it this year.

Pains me to say but I agree that utla does have an outside shot. They are all over the rankings, anywhere from Top 10 to not even in the Top 25. They are returning a significant group this year, especially on D. Their biggest problem is Duhrell. I'm not convinced he can coach beyond mediocrity week in and week out. If by some chance he can coach the miracle season, they will still fall short in December when they come to the Coliseum. Bank it.

Ahhh, the eternal pessimist.:dis: Take heart, young man! Remember the Tigers.....of 2003? This team is shaping up to look an awful lot like that one, IMHO.:thumb:

I have one question VBALL !!!

Are you trying to brainwash the LSU faithfull with your voodoo ?

I for one will never succomb to the USC brainwashing no matter how nice you are it will not be enough !! I will be your nemesis till the end of time!!!

I feel like Luke Skywalker against the Evil Empire. I will use the force . The force is always with me. Live long and prosper LSU fans and say no to the USC brainwash.

Dont force me to counter you with voodoo of my own and get a Pete Carroll doll and stick needles in him while he is on the sideline. I might do that anyway just to make me feel better !!! :thumb:

BTW you ever go to Huntington Beach ? I went there once when i was in LA and it was a great beach area?

I have one answer..........NO. LSU faithful are far more strong willed than to succumb to any type of mind manipulation. The competition is what makes it fun!

You do whatever makes you happy, PC voodoo doll and all. I have a feeling you wouldn't be the first. Surely some High Priestess off of Bourbon St. is a football fan.

My sister lives in Huntington. During the summer, I'm more likely to be there or at Bolsa Chica than any other beach. It is a great spot and now HB is officially Surf City. If you get back to SoCal and don't get that far south, then Hermosa is the best beach by far.
