Bullchit! To win a championship you need a phucking defense. You need an offense that doesn't turn the ball over and controls the clock thus the rhythm of the game. An offense that can run the ball effectively and move the chains with a creditable passing game. A kicker that can make fieldgoals is just as important as anything else. You do not need a running qb to win a championship.
To be honest you need a running qb in the NCAA and a passing qb in the NFL. No doubt luck will b a btr qb NFL but Jefferson is a perfect fit for LSU that's why we are 12-0 and Stanford lost. I understand where you are coming from but you are wrong. Take a walk and blow it off.
Dude, Jeffersons numbers as a starter came against Western Kentucky and Ole Miss, a couple of cupcakes. And they offer us nothing about how Jefferson "gels" with the team better than Lee does.

You left out Alabama the biggest game of the year. Jefferson led 3 scoring drives and lee sat the bench. If he would have understood how to deal with the players in a big game don't you think he would have stayed on the field?
