Good post, this is the issue. Before the season we were all concerned about the running game, and it appears those concerns were well founded. Alley and JV are not all the way back. We looked good against the little sisters of the poor, but this will not get us anything at the elite level. To go there, we gotta try something different, or just go pass happy. Our o-line pass blocking looked good.
Russell played ok, but not throwing the ball away and not throwing it into the endzone were big mistakes.
if russell was in an auburn jersey and cox was in a LSU one, the outcome today would have been the same, play calling and the refs (the ones from opelika) is what lost the game today
I like Perilloux better!:lol: Bring on Perilloux! Just kidding, I think this kind of stuff is rediculous after one game that we lost, especially a close game with questionable calls even though the offense didn't get on track but AU was part of the problem.
