I grew up truly hating Ole Miss. My niece went there. Between her and a good friend from HS who attended there, going to a tailgate in the Grove is on my bucket list. So, for now, OM. As others have stated though, a VERY distant second.
TULAAAAAAAAANE! Just kidding. Great question. I would probably chose Oregon. I've always kinda liked Oregon and I've spent spent so much time hating other SEC schools, there's no way I could pick one. I also like Southern Miss. Texas and FSU would also be in the running. I used to live in Austin and I've never really minded FSU. Whew! That was a lot of teams.
You sound like your job is more important than our football team. Sure you could. Think beaches, babes and BCS bowls and it's easy.
Wouldn't we all get so much more done. Although we'd be meandering around with a huge void in our lives. That void would weigh quite heavy.
I think based on proximity many people would root for one of the Mississippi teams. Obviously in our current reality they are two of the most hated for the exact same reason.
Since I attend the University of Tennessee, I would like to see Tennessee football finally compete and do well. LSU also doesn't play Tennessee in football for the next two years. I of course always root for LSU over any other team. I'm an LSU fan, not a Tennessee fan, even though I attend that University.
