    Strength of Schedule

LSU average opponent = 49th ranked preseason of 117 teams ... LSU has 3 BCS contenders on the schedule same as Miami (Top 16 preseason) with one guaranteed rematch with a BCS contender = 4 BCS contenders scheduled = Toughest in America bar none.

Georgia matches LSU with 3 BCS contenders scheduled and a similar schedule to LSU ... Georgia will be tested early at SC ... LSU at Auburn ;)

USC average opponent = 56th ranked preseason of 117 teams ... not a single Top 25 team all year long ... Cal tops the list at #30 preseason ranking ... this is a friggin' joke and these clowns will have no competition all year long.

Oklahoma & Texas ... who cares ... The Big 12 is rising ... 3 teams as Contenders (Neb = #16) but will be overall weaker than the SEC yet again.

Texas average opponent = 51st ranked preseason of 117 teams with Oklahoma being the only BCS contender to face Texas all year

Oklahoma gets Texas & KSU back to back ... with a hungry Nebraska late ... Frankenstein can kiss his sweet arse and his Heisman repeat hopes goodbye ... it ain't gonna happen.

Miami average opponent = 32nd ranked preseason of 117 teams ... 3 BCS contenders on the schedule

Who will get the nod? USC sucks the big one again ... sad fact is that they very likely will stay atop the major polls with an easily undefeated record ... the result of scheduling cupcakes. Nobody is gonna trip these weasils this year.

    Nobody!

Can an undefeated USC outpoint other unbeaten teams in the final stretch?

If Miami goes unbeaten ... they're in ... even probably over an unbeaten LSU.

Will the ESPN trumpet bugle for USuck all year long ... yet again ... will they finally get their heads out of their arses and realize playing nobody is not to be rewarded ... stay tuned.

Will the schedule for USC be any tougher this year ... nah ... all cupcakes ... every single one of them ...

It's easy to pick the NC game this year ...

USC versus the SEC Champ or an unbeaten Miami

If the Tigers beat Auburn, Georgia and Florida on the road and go undefeated there should be no doubt they deserve to be in the Orange Bowl.

While I would love to see LSU bitch slap the Condom Kids I think it would be even better to knock the Cane out of Miami's noses on their home field for the NC. We won this year on our own turf. Now lets do it on their turf.

Should we really be accusing USC of scheduling "cupcakes" when we just finished a season playing UL-Monroe, Arizona and Louisiana Tech? And LSU is really upgrading this year with Arkansas State, Troy State and Oregon State (hmm, an SC opponent also). USC did have THE TOUGHEST SCHEDULE IN THE COUNTRY in 2002.

I'm as big an LSU fan as any, but I'm not blind to the fact that the Tigers have one hell of an uphill climb to make it to the Orange Bowl, let alone win it. LSU will have a new staring QB and a new receiving corps except for one guy (Skyler Green) who isn't exactly Mr. Consistency. Oh, and LSU has to replace a senior safety in Jack Hunt, Marquise Hill and Chad Lavalais, the best defensive lineman LSU's had in a long time.

It's not easy to repeat as champs. Hell, that loaded Miami team couldn't do it in 2002.

If you guys want to start making your reservations for Miami, be my guest.

You must play great pinball like the Deaf, Dumb and Blind Kid in the song.

LSU has scheduled Virginia Tech, Marshall, Bowling Green, Houston and others who were all too chickensh*t to honor their committments to play in Tiger Stadium.

Hey Boy of Troy, LSU plays an SEC schedule. Get your head out of the Purple Jungle Juice long enough to realize that the Pac 10 schedule your Condomites play dosen't measure up to the SEC

    You've got a point ... but

We can talk ... Cal is their toughest opponent ranked #30 preseason

Think about that ... they play nothing but mediocre at best ... all easily beatable teams

LSU will play 4 BCS contenders (preseason ranked #16 or better) ... any of these games can be lost with bad luck, turnovers, etc.

At the end of the day who is more deserving of respect, a higher ranking and BCS NC considerations

= 100% cupcakes for USC with another pitiful SOS (I hope the BCS system doinks them again)

= 50% cupcakes for LSU, 50% tough games

cupcake = easy win where a team is favored greater than 14 points and is expected to win more than 75% of the time.
