Why abandon the running game?

I don't get it. We could run on these guys and we didn't even try very hard. Less than three minutes and we throw three straight passes? EIGHT three and outs? It looked like Mettenberger changed the play twice on that series. Bad move, if so. Very bad.

I agree. Terrible play calling. It cost us the Bama game too.

Why do we do any of what we do on offense? It's almost like we try to trick the D by doing the stupid thing.

Coaching is 100% responsible for this loss. No positive way to spin this, O staff deserves all the blame.

Its the typical stupid play calling weve grown to know and expect under Miles. LSU runs when we should throw, and throw when we should run. I also wish we would allow a back to better establish themself before bringing in another. Miles is has had by far his worst coaching job ever this year. Im done with him as coach.

  9. Pains me to admit it, but this is exactly what I said when Crowton was here.

After Hill's 57-yarder, my buddy texted me and said that he'd only get 2 more carries the rest of the game. He was essentially correct.

Because the defense was tired and they had to move the ball. Which they could not do.
Tried to run the game, failed, went into desperation mode unprepared.

    that's why.

A team with no offense counting on defense to win a game. Typical.
I also agree with the above member. Fire Les Miles.
He has proven himself this year even better than last year.
