You're way off base here man, I don't care if you approach racism in the right context. You just brought it up to slander people who might not think JR should start. You offered that or stupidity as reasons, as if you had the final word or could corner the market on a set of reasons. You did it to prop up your opinion, to intimidate, thinking no one wants to be labeled stupid or racist, you limited the choices. In your mind I am sure this if fine. the rest of the world might see through it though.

Like I said if you're going to wave the Racist flag and carry the cross, do it for the poor black kids that can't get proper education, or some other such cause. Or just discuss it on it's own merit. Post a thread that opens the subject of racism in sports, don't try to combine it with a set of parameters you've come up with as to why someone "must" be agaisnt some guy starting. While your analysis may be true of some, it is hardly the ONLY reasons there are endless possiblities. There may be some guy that doesn't like bald people or whatever. To bring race into the conversation merely to make people "look" small, is "playing the race card".

they could be C. they might think they are both good Qb's
or D. they might think RP is better than both of them
or E they might think that Brady Quinn is better than all of the above.
and lastly Z they might ALL be smarter than you and you just dont realize it.

I can see where you two would think the possibilities are finite and would try to justify it on a forum by running it up and down a gautlet of limited choices.

I never said your A and B were the only options. All I said was that some people didn't like Russell cause he was black. I also said some people think Matt Flynn is a better quaterback. I said both groups are pretty stupid. Coach Miles seems to agree that Russell is hands down better. You are bringing all kinds of irrelevant information into an arguement.

I'll stand by what I said. Anyone who cannot see that Jamarcus Russell is a very good quarterback is stupid. Anyone who cannot see that he is far and away the best quarterback st LSU is completely delusional.
