I'm not defending JJ at all becuase I really dont have anything for him either...But the Maryland fans have taken trash-talk to a new level with JJ. The "JJ Redick is Gay" stuff is stupid but kinda funny and I'm sure it just gets old to him...But when they start making signs that say "JJ I F'ed your sister"--that's a little too far.

Funny how opposing teams crack on him and talk about how "he sucks", then he drops about 25-30 on them in a win. In the end, that's what brings a smile to his face.

I like the home talent but shaq from texas or chris jackson from miss is fine.
jayb your Brady list was good but not close to the list I could compile that would feature Dales stars.

i know you didnt say that. that is what i was saying. it just sucks so bad that lsu cant get every good player. in fact, when players start to do well in college, i think they should transfer to LSU. what is wrong with brady?

I hate Redick, but there are only 2-3 players in today's college game like him...

People just think he is a white boy who can shoot...

he is SOOOOOOO mcuh more than that...

not just any shooter can work so hard to still get open through double and triple teams

In all honesty, if I was a Redick-level player from Louisiana, I'd pass on going to LSU even if I grew up loving them all my life.

When you're that good, you have to make a smart decision on where you go to college---where you'll develop as a player, etc. While Duke hasn't turned out many outstanding NBA-ers, I'd rather play for a Coach K than a John Brady.

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but if I had my choice of coaches as a Parade All-American type who wanted to play college ball before hitting the pros...I'd go with Rick Pitino. Always admired the man, think he really gets the most out of his players.
