Why cant Brady ever get a JJ Redick type player?

    his stats are ok, but his real value doesnt show in box score. he is the teams defensive stopper. i would want him on my team.

    I would take Battier's heart and leadership over Redick anyday of the week. Redick has only this year began to learn how to create his own shot, he relied on coming off screens which anyone can do. Do not get me wrong the kid can play, I have never seen a shooter quite like him. I am young though. Battier is a proven winner and I love the way he plays.:tigerhead

    EXACTLY...But, gumborue, give it up...Some just look at offensive stats alone. He's a role player in the NBA and his role is to play defense.

    He lived up to the "Duke hype" damn well IMO. Because it was just that, Duke hype. College is college, NBA is NBA. He doesn't need to live up to "Duke Hype" in the NBA. Just play hard, be a leader, and get his check at the first of the month.

    This kinda goes back to the "Worst Heisman Bust" thread...
