    We did. Harris overthrew him.

We don't seem to have any desire to work in some screens, or crossing routes, or even throws to the tight end that might be easier completions and allow the O to get in a rhythm before working in the bombs at the right time. I was heartened early in the game to see us line up in the I formation and then throw off of play action. We ought to be doing more of that. We ran 70% of the time yesterday (49 rushes versus 15 pass attempts). I recognize that our WR's did not help by dropping a couple they should have had, and Harris didn't help his guys by putting a couple behind them a bit while also throwing them a million miles per hour. However, just like people say with the running game, you stick with it because it will pay dividends down the road. Les does not, or will not, see that. If we can't pass against freaking Eastern Michigan, how the hell are we going to pass against Bama or Florida?

Harris has to improve. He is way off on many passes. He has missed out on several TD's by understhrowing wide open receivers. I do think the shitty play calling does not help the QB or receivers. You mentally get out of the game when you don't have the opportunities.

As a team LSU has not had the best focus for a few games. LSU has also been outcoached as a whole in three of their four games. I'll say Miss St outcoached LSU because that game should have been a blow out.

There are more WR drops on the year than bad throws.

Also, not every throw is going to be in your chest. Our WR's are LAZY. It if doesn't hit them perfectly in the hand they hardly try.

    It showed badly last night.

Yeah the receivers should be ashamed of their performace thus far this year. LSU has a hard enough time in the passing game as it is, we don't need receivers dropping every damn thing thrown on top of it.

I noticed that too. They rarely work back to the ball. It all goes back to coaching or lack thereof.

I don't like the expressions on Durals face. To me, he looks like he might have an attitude problem. Maybe he was pro Jennings?? Either way, if he is a cancer and is intimidating Harris to get the ball to him, get him out of there.

Another problem is our play calling and personnel groupings. Its clear as day. We have WR's who come in on pass plays, and WR's who come in to run block. My 3 year old can spot it from the couch at home, surely opposing defenses can spot it too.

Even those TERRIBLE announcers on ESPN U were saying that. You have to go get the ball. Go GET IT!

I still haven't figured out who the other guy is. I guess Dan Hawkins was one of them, but the other dude... Who knows.

How come Will Grier a freshman for Florida can go against a pretty good defense in Ole Miss and is 24/29 for 271 4 TD's and no picks And our passing game couldn't throw a fit.
