Why didn't LSU try harder to score the last TD?

I thought the same thing, CO. Anyone else, and I run out the clock. Spurrier??? I'd simply run it up. ;)

    It's not like we don't owe him 1, 2, 3 . . . . :po:

The reason I asked was that during the USC game, the announcers made the comment that it was because of the BCS formula that Pete Carroll was "forced" to run up the score.

    So this is not true?

my opinion, Carroll is a tool and the announcers are on his USC jock, because USC and Carroll are media darlings.

Sorry to changing the subject, but that was actually in The Karate Kid II at the very begining. The second movie begins right where the first left off, thus them being outside the tournament, which may be why you confused them. I suggest you watch them both before you make an error again.

    Take last season, for example.

and Ole Miss and the piggies. Lest you forget UK last year. it might not be the big guys that sneak up on you. EVERY game matters, UGA and BAMA are just the obvious ones. Low Radar fliers have a tendency to hurt you worse! :eek:lefire:

Pete Carrol has to run it up because they play in the PAC-1 and have to prove that if they win big, they could conceivably compete with the SEC schools week in and week out.

I respect Miles for taking the knee. But I admit I was wanting that extra TD bad. Half the reporters don't really know how the scores came about, they just know LSU won by 7 (a close game), not by 14 (an easy win).
