The game should be played at the stadium of the team with the best record.

Refresh my memory. LSU's last two National championships. One was won in the Superdome. Where was the other CG won?

we're not in the nfl ... but that's an original idea!

Folks would squeal having to play in the Swamp or in Death Valley every year ...

There's a reason it's played in Mylanta ... They held the first two games at Legion Field and everyone raised hell

Here's an original idea ... Since A&M joined the SEC fold

PLAY A "DOMED STADIUM" THREE YEAR ROTATION

    • Dallas Cotton Bowl
    • New Orleans Sugar Bowl
    • Atlanta Georgia Dome
    • Any other Domes?

I believe it was mentioned earlier that St. Louis has a dome, as well as Houston.

Because then we'd be copying the Pac-12....and since they said that little tidbit (the Pac-12's unique way of their conference title compared to everyone else) on GameDay, I'm assuming that's why you're asking.

I like the "neutral" site. And....um....Dallas, Morgantown, Starkville, Knoxville, Tuscaloosa, Atlanta, New Orleans or Baton Rouge.....it don't matter. Miles and the players know how to win in all of them.

Maybe, but you never hear that critique leveled at SC in the Rose Bowl or Miami in the Orange Bowl. Additionally, I never heard any other bowl city say they didn't want the local team like NOLA used to say about LSU in the 80s. It's always struck me as odd.

LSU fans will be out in full force at the SECCG so it won't be as much of a home game as you think. LSU fans are very hungry to make it back there and they will come in droves.

That being said I think rotating among the domed venues available in the SEC is a great idea.
