Why In The Hell Can't LSU Recruit A Competent Q.B.?

    No doubt about it. JJ was ranked in the top 10 in his category as was Lee. It could be said that both digressed in their tenure here. Mettenberger looks like he's going the wrong way.

    At some point it can't been all these highly touted QB's. You have to point to coaching.

    Stud is a line coach not an Offensive coordinator.

    Haven't panned out = Haven't been coached.

    Even Flynn was a mediocre QB... he just had giant testicles.

    Has a lot more to do with Les Miles' total investment in the running game. He thinks of the passing game as a "complement" to the offense, not something that we would dominate with.

    It is what it is.

    Really, thats all we need it to be. LSU would be just fine as a power running team if they had any passing game at all. All they need is to keep the defense honest, keep teams from stacking the box and burn them if they do it every down. The offensive philosophy is ok. Its the plays, gameplan, playcalling and player development that sucks.
