not necessarily. if Michigan is the Big Ten rep in CapOne, they not gonna take Bama and produce a rematch.
Why not? Michigan deserves a rematch, they lost on a neutral site in the opener. I'm just kidding but I would love to see Michigan get a rematch and beat them.
That would be even cooler, Alabama loses to Georgia, and the Sugar Bowl says fuck everyone else and the rules, I'm taking LSU Bama again for a rematch of the rematch of the rematch.
It was nice when it was the peach bowl. It was nice when we beat Georgia Tech in 2000. It was nice when we trounced Miami. Now like you said its no more than a papa johns or liberty bowl. I would love to go to the cotton bowl and beat the hell out of Texas.
Seems like the Cotton would take A&M, for the ticket sells and a rematch with Texas and the newly improved SEC version of the Aggies. Outback could pick us based on what your saying...
The Cotton Bowl is 1) already sold out, except for the meager ticket allotments to the schools and 2) will sell all of the ticket allotment to LSU within minutes. The folks here in Texas are not nearly as sold on an A & M/UT match-up as many seem to think. Especially Texas--they want none of A & M this year. Of course, we'd do a number on them as well.
With all the talent in the Pacific 12 the arrangements for say USCw vs LSU would be a better game / draw / TV format .
