Thank you...and a team of players w/ his skill, character, attitude, determination and drive....2 stars or not...would make a damn fine football team! 4 Stars won't matter if your robbing banks or beating up bouncers or if your so selfish you deman to be the ONLY player who takes the field. A winning team is a hell of a lot more than star power, thats probablly the LEAST impt. thing...come on now...y'all know that!
I don't know guys... I was somewhat disappointed in our class ranking by Rivals. I know most of the other services had us in the top ten so that made me feel somewhat better... I just hate being forth in the conference after winning the NC. There is also a lot of talk on here about coaching making the difference & developing players is something we can do better... I have always heard this - YOU KNOW WHAT MAKES GOOD COACHES - GOOD PLAYERS!!!! GREAT PLAYERS MAKE GREAT COACHES!!! I also am hearing that we are the best, whe are the champions, pay homage to us!! - Guys we were very very lucky to get to the big game-we could have easly lost two more games, now if that had happened would we be saying that we have so much depth that no one would come? We need more great players. LSU will be hard pressed to have a top five class this year because of the numbers crunch unless we pull a USC & get all 4-5 star players. Louisiana high schools needs to produce a great quarterback real soon because getting one out of Alabama is gonna be tough.. Do I fear Saban - Your darn right.. that man is a recruiting machine... Lock the borders!!! I WANT THEM ALL!!!! That being said We are the Champions, we do have two championships in 5 years & to stay up there we have to recruit with the best of them no matter who they are. Why? Because the difference between being the champion & second place is often just one player..:tigereye:
