This is getting pretty big play among Bernie supporters on Facebook and Twitter. Guess what? They don't like that HRC has added them to her list of deplorables. They don't like her either. Maybe her 47% moment. http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-supporters-audio-leak-228997
I don't understand how trump can win when he seems to be a complete and utter dumbass in front of the camera. anyone else in America would have beaten Hillary easily. damn shame gary johnson aleppo'ed
I really don't see where she says anything at all to offend them. What she said is very true and thoughtfully articulated at that. She identifies the problem and is sympathetic to their sentiments regarding the state of the country and the economy. They have been the real losers of the Great Recession. I got a chance to meet and hear Jason Dorsey speak recently at a furniture show in Nashville. I don't think there is anyone who better represents the millenial generation and what they are all about than Jason. Their entire adulthood was put on hold, he said, by the Great Recession. As a result they value things differently than previous generations. He predicts that the Millenials will finally join the economy in force over the next 3-4 years. All of this said, there are a certain percentage of Millenials who are going to place a protest vote no matter what.
very true. I think a lot about what this race would look like if John Kasich were the Republican nominee and he would be ahead of her by 7-9 points right now, consistently. Trump is the result of 8 years of Republican obstruction at all costs. The narratives that had to be created in order to blindly oppose anything and everything that Obama wanted, right up to only passing budgets in the wee hours of the night just before falling off a financial cliff, have created an environment where conspiracy theory trumps (no pun intended) facts. I mean, we haven't even been able to get an infrastructure bill passed, which is probably the most mundane and sensible spending we can do to help kick start blue collar work.
