Not bitter. He's the coach of the other school in our state -- we're supposed to make fun of him. He makes it really easy to poke fun too. I guess you'd have to listen to his mind-numbing press conferences to fully understand how mentally unstable he seems.
It's tough playing second fiddle to another in-state program (Saban at MSU, Miles at OSU)...that's certainly something to be considered. And great video...thanks for posting that. It's good to have a coach that's a bit nuts, but you don't see many of the elite programs with guys like that.
Me too. Not saying that I'm sold on him for LSU's next coach, but gotta admire a man with that much passion for the game.
Having the record he did in the Big 12 (probably the 2nd best conf. for football) is something to look at. How many other upsets did they pull off against far superior teams???:geaux:
OSU games through 2000 I think too much stock is put into how they did against OU. Its a rivalry game. Look at 2000 and 2001, both very close games but OSU sucked. I'd like to know honest opinion of Big 12 coaches.
also, look at last year--their best recent season, giving up tons of points to Texas, OU, KState, TTech. I prefer defensive coaches. Its the only way to consistently win and win NCs.
Or just read his answer to this question: http://www.nola.com/sports/t-p/index.ssf?/base/sports-15/1104305319265960.xml
He reminds me of Muschamp a little. I could see him lighting into our players like SABAN a good thing.
