Umm, Randall has proven just as much as Russell. Russell has proven that he has a powerful, but inconsistent arm, and he isn't good at scrambling. Hopefully Saban won't have your attitude of throwing the season away after game 3 just to give JR experience. (W or L? What's up with that?) Randall has played well the last two games, and has looked just as impressive as Russell. In fact, had Randall been in yesterday, and been able to scramble on some of Russell's drives, we may have had more points on the board. Saying the first drive was luck is ignorant. That was not luck. That was a beautiful, perfect 80 yard drive for a TD, which is way more than JR did all day. The mistake Saban made was taking Randall out of the game after that, and blowing his groove and momentum.

Here's to hoping Saban has more desire to win THIS YEAR than you do.

I'm glad somebody else on here bothered to play attention to Randall instead of just bashing him.

Oh, and for all of you who have so conveniently forgotten, Randall also had 2 very nice TD passes that were called back on penalties, which were not his fault. One against OSU, and one against Arkansas State. But to recognize that you would have to give him some credit for playing well, which some of you refuse to do. It's pretty sad, in my opinion.

If fifth year senior Marcus Randall still can’t distinguish himself from a very talented but inexperienced redshirt freshman after three games then it’s time to bench him and let the redshirt freshman and future of the team take the starting spot. One thing is for sure though; if Jimbo is forced to continue to come up with two different game plans each week to accommodate two different quarterbacks, both quarterbacks will continue to struggle and the offense will also continue to play without continuity. Until the coaching staff settles on just one quarterback, our offense will continue to struggle against the tough opponents, despite all the talent we have. In the game we lost to Auburn Saturday, Auburn’s football team didn’t really beat our team, our offense just failed to show up. LSU is overall a much better football team than Auburn, if we just get our quarterback and offense situation worked out once and for all and the sooner the better.
