He's got to come to that realization on his own. Hopefully, it doesn't take 2-3-4 more losses for him to figure it out.

If Miles is ever to be considered a great coach he would have to have the capability to realized that he is NOT the offensive genius I have to believe he thinks he is. I say that because it's simple to see that he is, in most regards, the offensive coordinator. We all know there would be any number of really good offensive coordinators (or prospects) who would give a favorite limb to come coach for LSU. It would be a dream to have a head coach who swallow his pride a bit and make the same right decision he made when he hired Coach Chavis and hire one of those guys to coach up these ultra talented people. A bit younger maybe and someone who could slide right into CLM position when the time comes.

I've had that same thought many times. Here's what you'll hear though, "Who would come to coach at LSU if we were to fire Miles?". Tired of reading that comment.

Les is the Forest Gump of Football, inherits a great team......wins a NC, loses his DC and promotes within.........Things go bad and hires John chavis.......Chavis builds a a Championship defense that carries the office.......Miles offense gets worse and worse every year after Flynn leaves....Miles relies more and more on defense to bail out offense.......offense can't play 60 minutes. Miles wins in spite of shortcomming.....The end could be near.

I hope it's near. I'm referencing the end of Les Miles' time at LSU.

Then come up with a plausible answer. We're all ears.

You know. Everyone's two year old could coach LSU's talent..

How Saban ever lost a game here is beyond me.

Miles is stubborn, but the day LSU fires him with out a true upgrade is the day LSU turns into R Kansas.

Is Chavis supposed to be Lt. Dan?
