why Texas was sure they would get Saban

    Saban has nowhere to go but down at alabuma and everything to gain at texas, not to mention no one can stand to live in alabama if you are not from there!

    I think Saban signed the Bama contract to get the heat off of himself. He's going to Texas after the bowl game IMO

    Nah, I got 99 problems but a nick aint one. I dont care what he does just speculating and pointing out that such a high profile job search and its crickets coming out of austin.

    Saban has no reason to stay at Bama. None, that is, that can't be doubled, tripled, or quadrupled in Austin. With the the three peat gone, he is just another run of the mill NCS double winner!
