The AU fans I've seen on here over the last 12 hours have been among the more reasonable and rational posters. That makes sense, b/c it's easy to have objectivity when you don't have a horse in the race. Nevertheless, I think the input adds a lot to the board, and helps keep things in perspective.

You are correct sir! It is easier, much easier to see things that you may otherwise not want to see when you have little to nothing at stake. And those with emotional ties add the reminder that sometimes, the facts just don't matter. I doubt that any great achievement was accomplished without deep emotions showing the way.
Auburn fans on this board tend to be classy. But yeah, its easy for them to objectively critique another fanbase's meldown while knowing that its a win-win situation for them.
