I'm from Louisiana (not Shreveport) but I was really offended by that article. I was going to write a comment on his blog about how ugly he is and judging from his picture he really is ugly, but I couldn't pull the trigger. An ugly guy with a distasteful personality has nothing to do with football, but then neither does his article. I read some of the comments and people who live in other parts of the country and will never visit Shreveport had negative comments about his article..:nope:
A few mile of RED NECK Rivera and then the rest is gumpville. bamaboy, like I said enema city. :milesmic: I sure I will be seeing you and smarta$$ pc of your's around, hotdog. :laflagwav :milesmic:
When you have two bad teams playing against each other it usually ends up being a close game....Just cause it is close, it doesn't mean that is good.
While not trying to propagate a flame war, I must remind you that while down on your so-called "RED NECK Riviera," I see more Louisiana tags than any other out-of-state tags. Nevertheless, the latter part of your post is negligible and cannot reason it out enough to comment. But, I will append this to my post: Tourism expenditures by state: Alabama (statewide) - $8.3 billion (2006) Louisiana (N.O. included) - $8.5 billion (2007) New Orleans alone $4.5 +- billion (2007) In conclusion, a whole lot of people disagree with you.
first of all, none of what you say makes shreveport any better. as usual people on here change the subject to make themselves feel better about their ****ty original stance. i have spent plenty of time in both states and south louisiana is beautiful and so are the hills in arkansas. in between...not so much. secondly, you can comment about people's life styles in alabama, and rightfully so, but the state is beautiful which includes the foothills of the appalachians...unless you go on I85 through lee county. again, this is about shreveport, right? not a shot at the people as i have plenty of friends from there and surrounding areas, just the city.
