Been about 20 years since I've been to a game. I envy you. The atmosphere was electric in the 80s and must be even more charged now with the larger stadium and a Tiger team routinely in the top 10. We were kind of like the Ducks back then..good but not elite status. Miami, Alabama etc would come through and stomp us. Much better now, being the ones doing the stomping.

 

Coming from Long Beach, you're welcome to stop by the Abita Springs Cafe for breakfast. (take the Abita Springs exit from I-12 north to Abita Springs and go just past the traffic circle in Abita.)

Go in the kitchen and let me know who you are when you get there and I'll do something special for your breakfast...soft shell crab eggs benedict maybe?
