Wife and I going to 1st game at TigerStadium this weekend..need some advice.

Well at least there should be some defense Saturday. Wasn't much on either side last night, although GB did have a few plays when it counted. I think the LSU D would have matched up better against the GB offense that what the Saints put on the field last night. Greg Williams has to be going crazy watching film today.

 

Not true…you can buy beer from the gas station on highland past the Chimes.
If this was my first time, I would get there early and walk around to take it in. Then hang out at the varsity to watch some games, get some food, and enjoy the big ass beer drink special. Then I would walk from the varsity to the gas station and buy some beer (we use to just take a trash bag, through the beer and ice in it and go from there), then walk towards the stadium, say hey to some peeps…(look for a group with a lot of girls, they will drool over you accent and then you will be in) eventually making your way to watch the band. Then get in the stadium early so you can watch all the pre-game show.
BTW…we normally sneak in a small pint of whiskey, worst case scenario they will catch it at the gate and make you toss it. Once in just don’t flash it around and you will be fine.
After the game there are some bars on Chimes…Slinky’s is where I use to go.
I prefer to go to third street now…the crowed there is 25-35 and the bars are better. But walking from campus to third street is not going to happen. I guess you could do it…I wouldn’t advise it though.
