It really amazes me how low the bar has been set for leaders in this country. And trump should just let Mike Pence talk. He is a far better bullshitter and much more swift on his feet than Trump. And Tim Kaine, potentially the most dull candidate ever. He makes John Kerry look like someone with ADD. Jesus he is boring. As for Hillary, not much can be said that hasn't been said already. She makes my stomach turn.
Pretty dead on but Pence is a Puritan. While I can sympathize with many of his stands I have a real problem with his unforgiving attitude to gay marriage, marijuana, immigration and similar issues. He seems to forget some of the basic principles our country was founded on. Too many forget or never understood we aren't a christian nation but a nation of Christians (by a great majority). We are a nation founded on principles established by the enlightenment by men who had a great distrust of powerful governments and abhorred a government that hued to a religion.
And yet somehow, as we move away from those basic principles, we have arrived at a nation increasingly dependent on gubment and their tyranny.....which is exactly what we were trying to avoid by coming here.
