Vote Now! Will Fournette go over 2,000 yards rushing in the regular season?

From ESPN article on Sanders:

"Sanders didn't just rewrite the NCAA record book in 1988, he took a flamethrower to it. Sanders set 34 NCAA records that season on his way to capturing the Heisman Trophy. He also rushed for 2,628 yards and 37 touchdowns, while adding two special-teams scores. The NCAA didn't begin including bowl game statistics until 2002, but with 222 yards and five touchdowns in the Holiday Bowl against Wyoming, he totaled 2,850 yards and 44 touchdowns. No player since has come close to touching either mark."

 

I'm going to say he gets just over 2,000 in the last game of the regular season. He's going to get plenty of carriers, as long as he stays healthy.

 

I didn't think post season counted. If that's the case then I do think Fournette will eclipse 2000.

 

I was asking about the regular season. Not including SECCG or the bowl game.

 

It counts. Justin Vincent didn't get to 1000 yards in 2003 until the National Championship game

 

Yeah I never understood why they changed that rule. It screws shit up.

He rushed for 180 against Florida. Our offensive game plan is built around Fournette so yes he wil have over 2000.

 

I think he gets 2000+ in the 11 game regular season. If we make it to the NC game then he goes around 2600.

 

The NCAA & the NFL should both rank leading rushers by yards per game in the regular season.
