I know this has been discussed here but with war with Iraq looking likely. Will CBS allow it to be moved to ESPN or will Viacom(CBS parent company) keep it in the family and move it to TNN; I have a link to an article that says there have at least been discussions between CBS and ESPN. One thing this article says is that no games will be on MTV or VH1. If they move it I hope they move it to TNN and use the CBS broadcasters; I just don't want to hear Vitale calling games for ESPN.
I do expect alot of cutaways from the games but I'm not sure they will scrap them all together. I'm actually kind glad we're getting going on this thing though, we've been in limbo long enough.
I think CBS should show the games as normal. I know they have their journalistic responsibility, but there will be war coverage on exactly 47 other channels.
