This is why I get very nervous about Meechigan rumors. Those who keep posting that the best coaches in America will be tripping over themselves for a chance to come to Baton Rouge are just kidding themselves. UF couldn't get Harbaugh, couldn't get Peterson, couldn't get Petrino - I shudder to think who the Tigers might end up with if Miles leaves.
I don't, other than it was reported in the media that those coaches were contacted by Florida. How do I know Muschamp is really the new Florida HC? I'm not there. I have no idea the actual level of interest or if the reporters' sources were accurate. How much do any of us on message boards really know firsthand. But I'd be surprised if Muschamp was their first choice.
It is being reported that Major Applewhite and Dana Holgorsen are candidates for OC; Kirby Smart for DC. Of course how do I know Muschamp is really going after these coaches. I don't. Like 99% of info posted on TF, I am just repeating what I have read/heard somewhere else.
