I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach already. Can't wait to get off of work and start drinking.

Returning 5 starters on the Oline will help them somewhat but I was not terribly impressed with them last year, and I tend to believe that our superior , and also returning front 7 have improved as well. I think we plant that poor kid at least 5 times with three of them being legitimate sacks. Even if our Offense looks a bit off, they will get plenty of shots at scoring thanks to our defense. This could be the perfect tune up game for the season.

I see no blowout, 28-7 for the good guys. MSU is healthy, they play #2 at home, its a new season, and Croom is on the hot seat this year. They will give us all they have. We'll get the best game they have.

In my gut I suspect Crowton is a better OC than Jimbo. I hope that is demonstrated tonight. That would make me happy.

Matt does not have the big arm of JR, but he is more mobile than JR. He was sharp on intermediate routes last time I saw him, it will be a different offensive feel, but it should still be productive, just not moving down the field 50 yards at a time.

I hope our young running backs play well, all of them. :geauxtige

I can see all those presents under the tree! Driving me a little crazy!!!

First game with a new offense will slow this game down.

I'd like to think they'll score more than that, but first game, new system, Flynn at QB, and playing it close to the vest prior to VT.

MSU's strong point is they have many of last year's team returning. Their problem is they have many of last year's team returning.:hihi: :hihi: :hihi:

unless we have turn-overs deep in our end. Even then, expect they will get only three pointers.

They may keep things close and interesting in the first half because of emotion; but that would probably fizzle out in the second half. I like to see a respectable winning margin, but I don't need a blowout.

Lets not forget what he did in the game b/4 that one. If we see the Flynn that showed up against the bulldogs then we must pull him.
