You would have to be completly braindead to think that anyone runs out of the endzone and kneels it on the one yard line would ever do anything like that again. People do learn from their mistakes man. Cut the guy some slack. You will change your tune when he is destroying the secondary of all of our SEC opponents in a couple of years. If I have learned anything from my wretched ECON classes its to plan for the long term as well as the short term.
Who knows who will contribute in a bowl. There is a whole lot of practice time between now and then and anything could happen. Saban was looking for him to contribute this season and if he is healthy he will probably see playing time.
in a couple years.. yes.. im not dissing the guy.. im just saying dont expect him to see many touches.. there are better people right now.. he has been good all year on kickoff coverage.. he should be THERE to make a contribution.. thats about it.. but dont expect him to be running back kicks or catching passes..
I seem to recall him returning a kick at a crucial point late in a game to around midfield and thus allowing for LSU to win the game late.... Talk about not contributing....... cough..... cough....
Skyler has made a few bad decisions and plays himself this season, the opening kickoff of the season to mention the one most prevalent in my mind. Do you think we should put him out to pasture also, locoguano?
Thats not what i said.. the guy is coming of an injury that probably will keep him off the field, even for the bowl game..
