I bet a lot of fans will be giving him a huge applause when he steps onto the field this Saturday; and I hope they also kick the asses of those lousy "fans" that booed him before!!! :hihi: ________ Ass Grab
this ain't the NFL where you cut players, much less after 2 picks from a young stud QB. always pretty amazing how people overreact from one game to the next. Hell, NFL qbs make terrible decisions almost every game yet we expect JR to be above mistakes? He is a kid learning a new system which has taken MR 5 years to learn and improve. JR is LSU's future and we should be a lot more patient when evaluating our players worth and/or progress within our program and not be so quick to jump-ship or give up on them when they aren't successful. We are all a part of the LSU family and should treat them as such. They chose to wear the p&g.
We should cheer for and miss all Tigers who played their last game at Tiger Stadium as long as they have shown good character and represented the university well IMO; even the ones who didn't play well. And I know some guys are going to point out some CB's that have had rough times on the field. There have been many a Tiger that was boo'd off the field and I think that is horrible. We've had DB's that have gotten burned quite a bit but the problem wasn't so much them as it was we didn't have anyone better to put in their place. Many of these guys should have been safeties instead of corners but no one else stepped up and performed.
Any one who calls him/herself an LSU fan and would boo Randall on Senior Day needs to take a serious look inward and reassess their priorities (drunks included). The posts in this thread show that Randall is appreciated despite some rocky twists and turns in his career. If you were hiring someone to represent your company and the 2 applicants were Marcus Randall and Warrick Dunn, who would you hire?
