I installed Adblock Pro to stop popups but it blocks the google ads too. I didn't mind the ads to the right of the search results but I have no use for them either. The ads would be useful in determining the relevance of keywords if your trying to find good ones

I have the free one. I just disable popups in Chrome.

What's the difference? Mine just says AdBlock, but I haven't seen an ad since I can't remember when.

I saw them both the first time I looked and went with Pro. Don't remember from reading about them in chrome store what the difference is. Maybe it's the popups since that's what I was looking to block when I installed it

OK, you made me go check.

    AdBlock:
Blocks YouTube, Facebook and ALL ads by default (unlike Adblock Plus).

    AdBlock Plus:
Adblock Plus is the most popular ad blocker ever, and also supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default (configurable).

I got to feeling guilty and just changed my setting so that @BRETT 's ads will show up. Thanks Brett!

I've never seen one of Brett's ads. I wondered where they were

I disabled it for this domain and am still not seeing any. I guess maybe he doesn't run them anymore.
