Let's let Ann do it. http://alerts.worldnetdaily.com/HM?a=ENX7Cqk-fCNK8SA9MKJHEhDnGHxKLAx_kPcStGb5lw8W0bBhOG5mpqVsje_Hhe-ud1OZ
Did you even read the post you responded too here? He got the concessions the first day. Everybody (even Shepard Smith of Fixed News) but the most hardcore conservative spinmeister knows that busting is exactly what it is. And what about the fact that to get the concessions, s signed contract had to be chunked? Seems to me, the union gave concessions for the good of Wisconson, and because they knew that the budget had to be cut, and the governor took this oppurtinity to destroy the labor union.
You know, I really don't care about the bill itself, but I do find it funny how everyone is skipping over the fact that it has still come to a vote, and the democrats ran away from it. Regardless of the views of whether the legislation is right or wrong, they have a phucking job to do which is show up and phucking vote. If they get their ass kicked in the vote, then they should make provisions to have the legislation overturned in the future, you know, kind of like the opposition of health-care did. It sucks if you get beat, but you rise up and fight again if that happens... not run away like a bunch of scared cowards. "Boo hoo, I'm going to lose so I don't want to play anymore! I'm taking my ball and going home!!"... Imagine the outcry had the republicans in the senate or house jumped on a bus and skipped town to avoid voting on the health care mess (which even currently, more people oppose than approve of according to the RCP average). Obama, the media, Pelosi, and friends would have had their heads if that happened.
What part of the state is out of money do you not understand? The unions will collectively bargain these workers right out of a job. Shepard Smith is a liberal by the way. And an Ole Miss one at that. His Fox News status does not endear him to me.
It depends on what the bill is. I think they should be championed for leaving the state. It's not about a win lose thing, it's about a right and wrong thing. And David Koch and his cronies are dead wrong on this issue.
They were not elected to make those determinations. They were elected to vote the way their constituents want them to vote. As Swerved said, it sucks to lose, but that's the way the system works. There's a reason why they are in the minority.
The states that are in the most financial trouble are all union states. New York, New Jersey , Michigan , California and Illinois are some of the worst off. These states have the highest unemployment and are all blue states. Unions will turn every state and this entire country into another Greece. Let the unions keep it up and all of the jobs will be in the south. If oil workers were all union workers we would be drilling again in the gulf. Obama is trying to destroy an entire industry. If this industry was union then would he be dragging out the permit process? The gulf coast is being punnished for being red states and the bp spill is perfect cover.
