With hobbled WRs, who do we turn to on 3rd and 6?

no sense in holding anything back in this game. If you have it, plan to use it.

Flynn really has turned more to his tight ends than Russell ever did. I think he's more comfortable throwing to the middle of the field like that. It seems to be working, but we will really need a receiver or two to step up and give us a down field option.

I fully anticipate that the playbook will be wide open like it was against VT. I sort of think that Miles and Crowton know what their players are capable of and are ready for a coming out party, similar to the VT game.

Since that game, we've been more basic (not vanilla, exactly), but just basic.

I don't think we will be that way Saturday night.

We have sooo much depth at RB and WR that I'm not worried it would be nice to have Doucet but if he cant we'll be fine. Thats why you recruit to have depth. We have more depth at WR than Florida. Take away Doucet and LaFell we still got Byrd, Mitchell Boys,Tolliver, R.Dixon and R.J. Jackson. As long as we execute no way we lose.

I love this debate of who we should throw to more. Do we have options or what? Come on Early, we miss you, hurry back stronger. :thumb:

I would love to see the bubble screen thrown to Toliver some like we did with Bowe...Toliver looks amazing running with the ball after the catch ...and this guy is only a freshman

He'll be even better when he bulks up a bit - 6'5", only 190lbs. He needs another 20 lbs to be a Bowe. Of course, as you said - he's a freshman. :thumb:

Shovel passes to holiday or williams will suffice. I expect early to dress in full pads, and even may see some playing time. I'd rather him not play and be ok for the Kentucky game, but this is Florida, and we need to pick up those 3rd down plays. Our line needs to step up as well on 3rd downs and in general. Too many hurries last week against Tulane and sacks. TBH, I'd like to see more of Perriloux than Flynn. Just please stop making him go in the shotgun and run a draw up the middle with him. It's not gonna work against Florida. Anyone else agree?
