a lot of the people that do this, you look at other items they are selling (especially during fb season) or their feedback to see what they have sold and you will see fb tix from other schools. and a lot of them. i noticed a lot of that when searching for fla tix. yes, you will have someone who has an extra pair to go along with their own season tix that is a true fan, or someone that cant make all the games and will sell the extras. but i think the majority are ticket brokers that put a lot of money into it as an investment and then keep the ticket prices inflated to get back their investment and make a nice profit.
I'm not positive these are brokers. it says local pickup only. Meaning they have to be someone in Baton Rouge. My guess is that when season ticket holders order their tickets online, they have to show some ID when they pick them up (not enough time to mail them out). Sooooo, we can pitch in, win these bids, geaux pick them up in person and ummmm express our dissatisfaction with these guys. We could even bring baseball bats with us to show them how enthusiatic we are about the game.
you may be right about most of them, but the one for over $600 is someone local possibly buying and reselling on a small scale for local events, given the number of tix they are selling, including 2008 fb tix already. (and the user name of sectix kinda tells me they are angling to be in the ticket business, not a fan that just happens to have a couple of extra.) but when looking for fb tix, i cant believe how many people i saw that were selling tix (and a lot of em) to lsu, bama, ole miss, tenn......
He is a broker. Bring baby gator for live influence. You name him yet? Is he a she? Does he drink beer? Is he one of THEM???
I wonder how the word, "Broker" originated. People are "broker" for dealing with them? Kinda dry I guess but just hit me.
Wow... I found tickets for last Saturday's game outside the Box for $10 each. Took 2 hours, but I found them. But $100 per ticket per game? No thanks.
How long were you waiting? We found them near the end of the first inning. It was very lucky. Though I had turned down tickets for $40 each earlier. My thoughts were that real baseball fans don't scalp.
was on campus for 7:45 that morning. casually looked for tickets during the morning. started agressively looking about the 4th inning of the UNO/TSU game. We left about 10 minutes before 1st pitch so we could get back to the house and see the game. you should have stopped by the tilgate and said hello.
