1. That was a rent-a-loss.
  2. Rice. 77-0. It wasn't even that close.
  3. I truthfully can say that La Tech was the biggest mismatch in recent memory and I have been coming to LSU games since 1964.

    (1) La Tech-2003
    (2) UL-M-2003
    (3) UL-L-2002

The ONLY reason these 3 games weren't worse on the score board is that Coach Saban just called off the dogs. In the UL-L game it was 41-0 half; in the La Tech game it was 49-3 half.
Let's end this in-state charade. GOOD LAWD!!!!
  4. How about Baylor (its been awhile back)
  5. ULL. Not even close.
  6. My thoughts, exactly, mojo. 77!!! It was 1977, and you have to back a long way to find another game in which the Tigers scored that many. Rice could not cover Carlos Carson, who had five TD catches and Charles Alexander had a pretty good game also, though he didn't play too much. LSU was good, but not great. The Tigers went went 8-4 in 1977, losing to Stanford in the Sun Bowl. And, they had lost to Indiana the week before the Rice game. I don't know what Rice's final record was that year. They were always pretty lousy then, though. They were really lousy against LSU on that day, so I would have to rate them the worst I ever saw.
